Explosion-proof boxes, models: KVMK 2.1 Exd-A-ХХХ… Х, КВМК 2.1 Exd-Н-ХХХ… Х, are intended for connection (branching) of electric circuits of general and special purpose (power circuits, control circuits, signaling, etc. .) in hazardous areas. Boxes are used for the entry of armored, unarmored electric cables of round or flat section and cables in a metal hose or pipe.
The material used for the manufacture of boxes is aluminum alloy or stainless steel 12X18H10T.
Boxes and Ex-components are provided with the following types of protection: GOST IEC 60079-1-2013 "flameproof enclosures "d"" and GOST IEC 60079-31-2013 equipment with dust ignition protection enclosures "t".
Boxes have various types of flameproof connections in accordance with the requirements of GOST IEC 60079-1-2013, are made both by welding for stainless steel and by casting for aluminum alloy. The viewing window can be located on the front cover of the housing.
The boxes belong to electrical equipment of groups I, II and III according to GOST 31610.0-2014 and are intended for use in explosive areas of premises and outdoor installations in accordance with the explosion protection marking. The equipment can be used in explosive zones of class 0, 1 and 2 according to GOST IEC 60079-10-1-2011, as well as in mines and mines GOST 31439-2011 (EN 1710:2005). The environment may contain explosive mixtures of gases and vapors with air of category IIA, IIB, IIB + H2, IIC, dust IIIC.
